Job Overview:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guest
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guestconcerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicateconcerns
- Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
- 5 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Demonstrated diagnostic and service expertise in the areas of driveability, electrical, powertrain/drivetrainsystems, and other mechanical systems, domestic and import
- Current ASE Certifications Preferred; Master, L1 Preferred (or willing to get)
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- Experience withDiesel systems is helpful
- NC State InspectorLicense preferred (or willing to get)
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Have the drive and the ability to flag 40-50 hours per week
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
