Job Overview:
This state-of-the-art facility is scheduled to open in April 2025. Interviews will begin in February 2025.
We are seeking energetic and upbeat technicians/mechanics with a positive attitude who can solve tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles for our guests using knowledge and skills.
- Build experience as an automotive mechanic across domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Complete courtesy vehicle inspections accurately and honestly.
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively.
- Follow high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Collaborate with the service department and communicate customer concerns effectively.
- Solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results with other Technicians.
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and desire to serve guests.
- At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- ASE Certifications preferred or a plan to achieve.
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles.
- Meet or exceed hourly goals.
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- Desire for long-term career development.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair.
- Have the needed dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Navigate a computer efficiently.
