Job Description
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and repairing vehicles using knowledge & skills.
- Building experience as an automotive mechanic across domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Completing full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Working with the service department to troubleshoot customer concerns.
- FOLLOWING and promoting high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicating customer concerns effectively.
- Solving problems, meeting deadlines, and delivering distinguished results as part of a team.
Qualifications
- A positive attitude and desire to serve customers.
- 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- ASE Certifications or a plan to achieve.
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles.
- Meeting or exceeding hourly goals.
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication.
- A desire for long-term career development.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting and/or moving over 100 pounds occasionally.
- Working with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
- Navigating tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair.
- HAND TOOLS dexterity.
- Walking/standing for most of the workday.
- Driving manual transmissions vehicles.
- Navigating a computer efficiently.
