Automotive Technician / Mechanic Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team at Christian Brothers Automotive in Prescott. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience and a passion for delivering exceptional service to guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair various domestic and foreign vehicles with precision and attention to detail
- Build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of vehicles
- Complete thorough and accurate courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work collaboratively with the service department to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Foster a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and commitment to serving guests
- 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Able to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
Physical Demands:
- Lifting and moving objects up to 100 pounds
- Working with tools on vehicles lifted above head height
- Navigating tight spaces within vehicles
- Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently
- Standing and walking for extended periods
