Automotive Technician / Mechanic
We are seeking energetic and positive individuals to join our team as automotive technicians/mechanics.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for finding solutions to complex problems, with a focus on delivering exceptional results for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles for our guests using knowledge and skills gained through experience and training.
- Continuously build expertise in various domestic and foreign vehicle makes and models.
- Conduct thorough, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Work collaboratively with the service department to troubleshoot guest concerns efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization within the workshop.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent guest service.
- At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- ASE certifications preferred, or a plan to obtain them.
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles.
- Meet or exceed hourly goals.
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated desire for long-term career development.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and move objects weighing over 100 pounds occasionally.
- Work with tools on vehicles lifted above head level.
- Navigate tight spaces as required by vehicle repairs.
- Efficiently use hand tools with necessary dexterity.
- Walk/stand for extended periods during the workday.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Navigate computer systems efficiently.
