Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles with precision and attention to detail
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete thorough and accurate courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work collaboratively with the service department to troubleshoot guest concerns efficiently
- Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests to deliver exceptional results
Requirements:
- VA state inspector license is required
- A positive attitude and commitment to serving guests
- At least 4 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic, with expertise in suspension, brakes, alignments, and diagnostics
- European experience is a plus
- ASE Certifications are preferred, or a plan to achieve them
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
- Desire for long-term career development
Physical Demands:
- Occasional lifting/moving of objects over 100 pounds
- Working with tools on elevated vehicles
- Navigating tight spaces to access vehicle repairs
- Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently
- Standing/walking for extended periods
- Driving manual transmission vehicles
- Navigating computer systems
