Master Automotive Technician/Mechanic | Weekends Off
As a Master Automotive Technician at Christian Brothers Automotive, you will utilize your skills to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles while providing excellent customer service. Job Description:
We are seeking skilled technicians who possess a positive attitude and a strong passion for delivering exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repairs and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles across a wide range of domestic and foreign makes/models.
- Build expertise as an automotive mechanic through continuous learning and training.
- Conduct thorough courtesy vehicle inspections to ensure accuracy and honesty.
- Collaborate with the service department to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
- Foster a culture of safety, cleanliness, and organization within the workplace.
Qualifications:
- A positive attitude and a desire to serve guests.
- At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic required.
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve them.
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles.
- Meet or exceed hourly goals.
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional lifting and/or movement of over 100 pounds.
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair.
- Have the necessary dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday.
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles.
- Navigate a computer efficiently.
