Master Automotive Technician / Mechanic
We are seeking energetic and positive technicians who have a strong passion for doing what's right for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles to meet customer expectations
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Perform accurate and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work collaboratively with the service department to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Foster a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers
- At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
- A desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Capacity to work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Necessary dexterity to efficiently use hand tools
- Ability to walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles
- Able to efficiently navigate a computer
