Master Automotive Technician/Mechanic | Weekends Off
We are seeking a skilled Master Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Huntersville, NC. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience and current ASE certifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems with high standards of safety and cleanliness.
- Building experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Completing full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Working as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
- FOLLOWING AND PROMOTING OUR HIGH STANDARDS OF SAFETY, CLEANLINESS, AND ORGANIZATION.
- Communicating effectively with the service department and other technicians to solve problems and deliver distinguished results.
Qualifications include:
- A positive attitude and a desire to serve guests.
- 5 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- Demonstrated diagnostic and service expertise in areas such as driveability, electrical, powertrain/drivetrain systems, and mechanical systems, domestic and import.
- Current ASE Certifications Preferred; Master, L1 Preferred (or willing to get).
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles.
- Meet or exceed hourly goals.
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication.
- Experience with Diesel systems is helpful.
- NC State Inspector License preferred (or willing to get).
- A desire for long-term career development.
Physical Requirements include:
- OCCASIONALLY LIFT AND/OR MOVE OVER 100 POUNDS.
- HAVE THE DRIVE AND ABILITY TO FLAG 40-50 HOURS PER WEEK.
- BE ABLE TO WORK WITH TOOLS ON VEHICLES LIFTED ABOVE THEIR HEAD.
- WORK IN TIGHT SPACES AS DICTIONATED BY THE VEHICLE'S NEEDED REPAIR.
- HAVE THE NEEDED DEXTERITY IN ORDER TO EFFICIENTLY USE HAND TOOLS.
- WALK/STAND FOR THE MAJORITY OF THEIR WORKDAY.
- DRIVE MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS VEHICLES.
- EFFICIENTLY NAVIGATE A COMPUTER.
