Job Title: Master Automotive Technician / Mechanic
We are seeking energetic, upbeat technicians with a positive attitude who seek out solutions to tough problems and have a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles using knowledge and skills
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across domestic and foreign vehicles
- Conduct full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work collaboratively to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Communicate effectively with the service department and address concerns
- Solve problems and deliver distinguished results in collaboration with other technicians
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and desire to serve guests
- At least 5 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Able to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- Desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and/or move objects over 100 pounds occasionally
- Work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Operate in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Use hand tools efficiently
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Navigate a computer efficiently
