Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic
We are seeking skilled automotive technicians/mechanics who possess a strong passion for delivering exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, a desire to serve, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics and repair of vehicles using knowledge and skills to meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
- Complete thorough and accurate courtesy vehicle inspections, identifying potential issues and recommending necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with the service department to troubleshoot guest concerns efficiently and effectively, providing timely solutions and updates.
- Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization in the workshop, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.
- Master Certified L1 Technician certification, with ASE certifications preferred or a plan to achieve them.
- Able to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles, with a strong aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
- Meet or exceed hourly goals, demonstrating a commitment to productivity and efficiency.
- A professional appearance, strong communication skills, and a desire for long-term career development.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing over 100 pounds.
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
- Capacity to work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair.
- Necessary dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Able to walk/stand for the majority of their workday.
- Proficient in driving manual transmissions vehicles.
- Able to efficiently navigate a computer system.
