Job Title: Mobile App Framework Development Intern
We are preparing for our 2025 Summer Internship Season!
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Summer Intern to assist in setting up the framework required to build a mobile application using React Native. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mobile app development while working in a dynamic environment.
- Assist in setting up the foundational framework for a mobile app using React Native.
- Collaborate with the development team to establish project structure, libraries, and dependencies.
- Configure and optimize the app for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Work on integrating best practices for code organization, performance, and scalability.
- Set up CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
- Assist with preparing the app for submission to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Document technical processes and guidelines to ensure smooth handover.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with React Native development.
- Familiarity with iOS and Android app deployment processes.
- Basic understanding of app store guidelines and requirements for both platforms.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Previous experience in mobile app development projects.
- Familiarity with tools like Xcode, Android Studio, and testing frameworks.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration.
- Experience with Azure cloud services.
Accountabilities
Accountable to the Brand, including the Franchisees, Technology Solutions team, Home Office team, Leadership team, and ultimately the company President. The Mobile App Engineer Intern will report directly to the CBA Software Architect.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally bending, twisting, and turning.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Workplace Environment:
- This role will be located at the Home Office headquarters in Houston, TX.

- Open office layout to promote collaboration, conversation, and teamwork.
- This role will require three days in office, and allow two days remote.
- Travel is not typical
