Job Overview:
As a Sales Manager with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the trusted professional our guests rely on for assistance with their vehicles. Your role is crucial in building lasting relationships, as you are the face they see every time they invest in their vehicle.
The Sales Manager will guide our guests through the entire repair process, keeping them informed about the status of their vehicles and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to sales activities, quality of work controls, guest satisfaction, revenue, profit margin and other documented goals as assigned by the Owner.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greet every guest that enters our facility with hospitality and respect
- Proactively manage key metrics, including car count, revenue growth, and service bay efficiency.
- Optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average repair order (ARO), gross profit margins and guest satisfaction.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to refine sales strategies, maximize profitability, and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Implement strategies that enhance guest retention and shop performance, ensuring long-term success.
- Directs, coordinates, and participates in performing guest service activities
- Present the best solution to properly repair our guest vehicle in a way that is easy for them to understand
- Consistently and effectively sell our services without jeopardizing honesty and integrity
- Maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere at all times
- Communicate on the phone in a clear, professional manner
- Shuttle guest as needed in CBA branded vehicle
- Ensure that all repairs are performed to proper specifications.
- Work together as a team and assist other employees as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Desire to grow personally and coach others
- 10 years of work experience in Guest Service & Service Sales preferred but not required
- Automotive experience preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Windows-based computer software and automotive store applications
- Experience in TekMetric software application preferred but not required
- Graduation from an industry-recognized service training program preferred but not required
- ASE Service Consultant certification or equivalent experience
- Current driver’s licenses
- Driving record acceptable to our current insurance carrier
Physical Requirements:
- Being dependable and reliable for a position that is scheduled for Monday – Friday, 6:40am – 6:15pm
- Being on your feet the majority of the workday (standing, walking, coordinating parts, etc.)
- Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
- Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
