Position Summary
">We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various makes and models of vehicles.
">About the Position
">- You will utilize your knowledge and skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guests.
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns.
- Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.
Key Responsibilities
">- Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements.
Requirements
">- A positive attitude and a desire to serve guests.
- 5 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- Demonstrated diagnostic and service expertise in the areas of driveability, electrical, powertrain/drivetrain systems, and other mechanical systems, domestic and import.
- Current ASE Certifications Preferred; Master, L1 Preferred (or willing to get).
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles.
- Meet or exceed hourly goals.
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication.
- Experience with Diesel systems is helpful.
- NC State Inspector License preferred (or willing to get).
- A desire for long-term career development.
