Position Responsibilities
- Review documentation submitted via Post Office, Correction Worksheet, Call Note or email to identify the task needed for resolving all payment correction issues. Process and Close all BCBS Adjustment claims. Perform all online and clerical duties necessary for effective and efficient processing of recovery and subrogated accounts ensuring that information is accurately entered into the Recovery database and Allied QicLink category notes
- Communicate by telephone or in writing with providers of service, participants, legal counsel, CBS Finance staff, Allied's provider maintenance and subrogation staff for status, circumstances, resolution of overpayments, misdirected funds and subrogated accounts
- Review Allied Subrogation documents for EBT and consult with the RMT contact people and Gallagher Basset for accident information. Send written requests, provide EOB’s and excel spreadsheets for subrogation refunds
- Follow up on refund requests and update member files with pertinent information
- Recognize trends and exercise judgment in determining files and documents that should be referred to the unit supervisor
- Assist HBS Underwriters, Benefit Consultants, Plan Build and Enrollment staff by updating accumulators in QicLink, requesting refunds or reissuing payments and maintaining synchronicity with ESI.

- 3 years' experience processing medical and dental claims
- 3 years' customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
- Good math and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
