Job Summary:
The duties and responsibilities of the Receptionist include facilitating communications functions of the assigned area and providing clerical support. Part Time weekend (Saturday & Sunday 9am-5pm).
Job Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Licensure: None
Experience: Minimum required 1 year of experience in clerical position
Skills: Excellent communication, phone, interpersonal, and organizational skills; Exceptional customer service
Transportation: Ability to ensure timely arrival and stable transportation.
Physical and Mental Effort:
The Receptionist works primarily in an office environment but must also be able to move throughout the buildings and grounds as needed throughout the day. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet resident/family needs and deadlines.
Essential Functions:
Performs general office tasks as required.
Receives and directs phone calls, guests, and correspondence.
Keeps calendar for meeting areas and other areas as assigned.
Interacts in a professional and pleasant manner with all visitors, residents, teammates, and vendors.
Maintains confidentiality of all organizational information in accordance with HIPAA regulations as well as community and organizational policies and procedures.
Performs assigned tasks in accordance with community and organizational policies and procedures.
Participates in ongoing training and in-services for improving knowledge and updating skills.
Performs other assignments and duties as requested.
Establish and encourage an atmosphere of optimism, warmth, and interest in residents' activity preferences and needs.
