What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at Christian Care Nursing Center?
The Dietary Aide works under the supervision of the Dietary Director and performs the following tasks: serves prepared food, clean up of the dining areas, and clean up of the dishes and common area.
Job Functions:
- Ensure that the kitchen is safe and sanitary
- Cleans dining room tables and washes dishes. Clean tray carts, utility carts, serving area, cupboards and all related areas to the dish washing area
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment according to department procedures
- Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude in kitchen to all staff and family members
- Works with dietary employees to achieve a quality food service program
- Assist cook putting away stock items
- Respond to change productivity and handle additional projects as delegated
- Prioritize responsibilities and complete projects within allotted time
- Assist where needed with any and all task in the kitchen and statelite kitchens
Required Education and Experience:
- Post Secondary - High school diploma or equivalent
- Job Specific Training - Must know rules of sanitation and must be able to operate kitchen equipment related to assigned duties
- Specific Experience - None needed

Shift preference as follows:
- 2nd Part Time -- 4pm - 8pm
