Christian Care is looking for a qualified PT Housekeeper.
The Housekeeper works under the supervision of the Director of Environmental Services and maintains a clean and safe work environment according to department procedures.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for knowledge of and compliance, where applicable, with regulatory or credentialing agencies such as state and federal guidelines, Medicare and Medicaid and any other agency
- Ensures that sanitation and safety standards are maintained above levels that are acceptable according to state and federal regulations
- Ensures all documentation is completed correctly and timely
- Thorough cleaning of rooms pertaining to the room cleaning schedule tool
- Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude in the housekeeping and public areas to all residents, staff and family members
- Prioritize responsibilities and complete projects within allotted time
Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
Skills
- Demonstrate knowledge and good judgement in matters of policy and procedure
- Excellent interpersonal skills in the area of creative problem-solving, conflict resolution, group planning and decision-making processes
- Flexible, self-starter: able to multi-task while also being highly detail orientated
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and/or carry 50 to 75lbs
- Must have the ability to work with chemicals/cleaning agents
- Must be able to maintain a standing/sitting position for a period of time
