What are the responsibilities and job description for the Healthcare Nurse RN or LPN position at Christian Care Retirement Community?
We are looking to add nurses to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift in either a full or part time position! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents!
Starting pay for an LPN is $30.00/hour, and an RN is $34.00/hour. Receive an additional $0.25 for every year of experience with a maximum of 15 years! Further, we offer the following shift differentials: 2nd shift - $3.00/hour; 3rd shift - $3.00/hour; weekends - $2.50/hour other applicable shift differential. Earn double-time pay for holidays worked.
Full time team members are eligible to join our insurance effective day ONE of employment, and PTO is based on years of experience!

Position Details:
The nurse in this role will be responsible for providing compassionate, professional nursing care to the residents of Christian Care Retirement Community. As a skilled clinician, they will assess residents' health needs, develop appropriate care plans, administer medications and treatments, and closely monitor residents' conditions.
On a typical day, the nurse will review residents' charts and consult with the interdisciplinary care team to determine the most suitable interventions for each resident. They will use their clinical judgement and critical thinking to analyze health data and identify changes or concerns. The nurse will administer residents' medications, treatments and therapies with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the right care is provided at the right time. They will make regular rounds, checking in on residents to evaluate their response to care.
With strong communication skills, the nurse will keep residents and their families updated about health changes, new physician orders, and adjustments to care plans. They will document their assessments, interventions and communications thoroughly in accordance with facility policies and nursing best practices. The nurse will coordinate closely with nurses, certified nursing assistants, therapists, social workers and other staff to provide coordinated, resident-centered care. They will fulfill all other nursing duties required to ensure the wellbeing of residents.
