Lead Pastor - West Madison Bible Church
West Madison Bible Church, an independent church, is actively seeking a full-time lead pastor to support the church's growth, facilitate the evangelism efforts with in the local community as well as the worldwide missions, to be the church's long-term spiritual leader, and promote the spiritual advancement of the body of Christ.
Job requirements will include…
- Preaching the inerrancy and authority of the Word of God from the Bible every Sunday
- Provide pastoral care including visiting the sick and shut-ins, as well as counseling and support to those in need
- Overseeing ceremonies including weddings, funerals, and baptisms
- Actively participate in evangelistic outreach to the community
- Developing and mentoring leadership within the church
- Be actively involved with church leadership and staff
- Have a minimum of 5 years of ministry experience including preaching the Word of God in a congregational setting
- Have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a conservative Bible college
- Have good communication skills including working with others, willing to take initiative, and conflict resolution
- Have a passion for equipping the believers and evangelizing the lost
- Have an active prayer life and deep desire for the continuing growth and study in God’s Word
- Have at least a basic working knowledge of current technology
