Administrative Director - Seeds of HopeSeeds of Hope, located in Pinal County Arizona, is a 30-year-old faith based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the population of Casa Grande and surrounding areas. Seeds of Hope provides essential services such as food assistance, community garden, senior programs, after-school activities, and a clothing closet among others. The goal is to empower individuals and families, fostering thriving communities.
The Administrative Director for Seeds of Hope will play a crucial role in leading the organizational mission. This will include financial accountability to the approved budget. This position will work in cooperation with the Programs Manager and the Board of Directors to develop and implement programs including outreach and volunteer engagement. Fund raising activities in conjunction with local stakeholders are a key part of the organization's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership - In cooperation with the Board of Directors, will develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to guide the organization's future.
Fundraising and Grant Writing - identify and pursue grant opportunities to support the organizational mission. This will include opening, maintaining, and closing grants following the unique requirements for completion.
Program Development - Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services working closely with the Programs Manager.
Financial Management - Prepare financial reports for monthly board meetings following the approved budget. Will be maintaining the organizational budget while securing funding through grants and donations to ensure financial sustainability and growth of the programs.
Staff and Volunteer Management - Recruit and hire staff and volunteers as needed in conjunction with the Programs Manager. Supervision of the Programs Manager and Office Coordinator position is included in these activities.
Community Outreach - Build strong relationships with churches, community partners, donors, stakeholders, and volunteers.
Board Relations - Will be working closely with the Board President to achieve strategic plan objectives and utilize growth opportunities. Monthly reporting to Board of Directors is expected week prior to scheduled meetings. This is to include: budget variances, program activity updates in cooperation with Programs Manager, staffing, progress related to grant funding, and growth opportunities identified through outreach activities.
Schedule - Flexible daytime hours but will include on Sunday per month up to 3 hours attending congregational events. This position will also include evening meetings and events such a Chamber of Commerce and business outreach events.
