ABOUT ANAHEIM REVIVE CHURCH
Anaheim Revive Church (ARC) is a Christ-centered, non-denominational, multigenerational community with over 100 years of rich traditions and history. The congregation consists of around 200 members. The church takes joy in being a family-oriented church, transforming families in the love of Christ and empowering all believers to build the Kingdom together.

The central responsibility of the Lead Pastor is to work alongside the Elders in overseeing the vision, direction and life of the church. The Lead Pastor will also have a firm grasp on the church’s history, purpose, values and strategies, and align other ordained and lay leaders to accomplishing its mission.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Born again believer with a maturing relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Education Requirements: (1) Seminary degree or equivalent experience and training; (2) Background/openness to Wesleyan theology
- High degree of integrity in personal and professional life.
- Proven ability to cast and accomplish vision with effective communication of this vision to staff and congregation.
- Gifted Christ-centered preacher, with experience in expositional teaching, who can listen for and proclaim God’s heart in leading the congregation with ability to articulate the Gospel to a multigenerational congregation.
- Proven ability to connect with young families and grow new ministries.
- Highly developed relational skills with the ability to mentor leaders and help the leaders grow spiritually and professionally.
- Minimum 3 years of pastoral experience in a church setting
- Familiar with the Asian American church context with experience relevant to this cultural understanding.
- Willingness to support Anaheim Revive Church’s Mission and Vision.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Spiritual Leadership: Work with Elders to oversee the spiritual and physical growth and well-being of Anaheim Revive Church - prayerfully, financially and organizationally.
- Vision Casting and Fulfillment: Responsible for strategic planning, organization and mobilization of staff, laity and congregation for the fulfillment of ARC’s vision and mission.
- Worship Services: Holding a leadership role in planning and executing worship services. When necessary, extend support to the Japanese-language ministry, providing spiritual and organizational leadership.
- Biblical Preaching: Leading the congregation through a focused, intentional, and applied Christ-centered study of Scripture to discover God’s will for fulfilling the church vision and mission.
- Body Life and Ministry Mobilization: Provide the congregation with avenues for building an authentic Christian community through large and small group activities, and a framework for healthy ministry.
- Pastoral Duties: Oversee the pastoral care needs of the congregation, ministering and working alongside other ordained and lay ministers in visitations, counseling, marriages and funerals.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Salary package range inclusive of benefits negotiable based on experience. The position is full-time after a six-month probationary period.
