Program Director - Kansas City Girls AcademyTeen Challenge Southeast's mission is to put hope within reach of those who need it most. One area Teen Challenge executes the mission is through its Adolescent Programs (ages 12-17), Teen Challenge's Christian Boarding Schools allow each participant to continue the education while facing the issues that prevent them from having a strong relationship with family. TCSE adolescent programs provide young people the necessary tools to develop a productive and healthy future. The Teen Challenge program is designed to create a sense of personal responsibility, self-discipline, godly character, a sense of right and wrong, and self-respect.
Teen Challenge is looking for an Executive Director for one of the Adolescent Programs who desires to see the lives of teenagers and families changed forever through a program designed to make an impact. An Executive Director has a strong call to ministry, education, and mental health management. One should have experience in leading and working closely with families and people in trauma in a highly Christian environment. Can lead and elevate a team of 10 - 20 staff. Responsible for the operations and expansion of the local program.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience in Ministry is preferred, but not required
Proven leadership experience or managerial experience - 5 years
Understanding or experience in the mental health field
Experience in developing strategies and plans
A background check and pastoral or ministerial leader reference is required
