Worship Pastor - Eastpark ChurchPlanted in 1997, in Vancouver, WA, we’re a contemporary, evangelical church whose mission is to see
people transformed by Jesus as Eastpark Church proclaims the gospel with our words and our lives. Eastpark Church is just ordinary
people who have fallen in love with Jesus and want friends and neighbors to know Jesus too. The church in
a season of growth so the church needs a worship pastor who loves and lives with Jesus, and is called to join Eastpark Church
in leading the fulfillment of the mission.
JOB SUMMARY
This is the perfect role for someone who musically gifted and has the leadership and organizational skills
to lead the two weekend gatherings, and the music ministry throughout the church. Eastpark Church needs a leader in
love with Jesus, with strong godly character, able to lead, recruit, and equip others, and contribute to the
church Leadership Team.
THE PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE ROLE IS TO LEAD/OVERSEE
• Weekend Gatherings — plan the weekly gatherings in conjunction with the lead pastor, including
creative elements, testimonies, baptisms and child dedications.
• Music Ministry — ensure new musicians are identified and auditioned; develop and organize the
team; oversee the growth and development of the ministry through out the church
• Technical — oversee the technical team (audio/visual/lighting)
The worship pastor is a member of the church Leadership Team and
fulfill other duties as assigned by the lead pastor.

resourcing, empowering, encouraging and caring for the members.
• Personal — to be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, initiative, integrity, highly organized,
great follow up and follow through, and an optimistic faith
• Personal Development — a commitment to continually grow in one's leadership and faith
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
This is a 16 hour part-time position (with the potential to increase as the church grows), with an expense
account, and reporting to the lead pastor as per the Eastpark Church employee handbook.
