Secondary English Language Arts Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our team. As a High School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide guidance and support to help students achieve their academic goals.

Schedule:

We are a four day a week school; school days are Monday - Thursday.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and other forms of evaluation
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development
- Foster a positive and vibrant classroom environment
- Provide academic advising and support to students as needed
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress
- Stay up-to-date with educational best practices and incorporate them into teaching strategies

Qualifications:

- Supports and can uphold CCS's statement of faith
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Experience working with high school students
- Strong knowledge of the subject matter being taught (e.g., Math, English, Science)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
- Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and grading assignments
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential
