What are the responsibilities and job description for the School-Based Therapist - Tuslaw schools position at Christian Children's Home of Ohio?
A School-Based Therapist (PT/FT) with Encompass Christian Counseling partners with school officials to provide support and mental health and case management services to students and families at assigned schools.
This position would start as Part-Time, With the potential to go to Full-Time

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's level Social Worker (LSW) - Master's degree strongly preferred - or Master's level Counselor (LPC), with independent licensure preferred (LISW or LPCC, respectively).
- Experience working with students and families strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:

- TEAM first.
- Provide individual and/or family mental health counseling and appropriate and effective evidence-based therapeutic interventions according to the client's treatment plan.
- Complete MHAs, including accurate mental health diagnoses.
- Complete treatment plans (ITPs) in collaboration with client.
- Complete timely and well-written documentation. Progress notes should be completed and signed daily, or within 24 hours for billing purposes.
- Participate in Peer/case review, supervision, and other quality improvement activities.
This position is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check and drug test, satisfactory reference checks (emails were previously sent to the 3 references listed on your application), as well as the completion of a satisfactory Department of Justice National Sex Offender search and Ohio Alleged Perpetrator Search, as required by our licensing agency.
