About the Role
This position involves supervising nursing assistants, guiding and directing the delivery of nursing care, and adhering to Board of Nursing Standards of Practice for registered nurses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess resident needs, collect data, and record observations/cares given according to established protocols.
- Report changes in resident physical/mental conditions to Nurse Managers and physicians.
- Consult with Nurse Manager and/or physicians regarding resident needs.
- Assist LPNs with resident concerns and assessments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree from an approved nursing program for RN/LPN.
- A current license as a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) in the state of Wisconsin.
- Experience or training in geriatric or long-term care nursing is preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification.
