CCSC Seeks Administrative Manager
Christian Community Service Center (CCSC) is a well-established social service agency supported by 40 churches in central/southwest Houston working to alleviate the effects of poverty. CCSC is currently searching for a professional to join its team as a full-time Administrative Manager.
The primary responsibilities of the Administrative Manager (full-time, 35 hours/week, exempt) are ensuring the administrative office runs smoothly, office procedures are adhered to, and donor data entry and acknowledgment processes are accurate, timely and confidential. This position is also responsible for some human resources functions such as onboarding and offboarding employees, maintaining job descriptions, and assisting hiring managers with the recruitment process. The Administrative Manager also works with the President & CEO to maintain/update notebooks, generate meeting notices and ensure meeting minutes are finalized for the Board of Directors and related committees.
Requirements for consideration: Strong detail orientation and organizational skills; data entry and reconciliation experience, preferably with a donor database; ability to multi-task and prioritize; excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; and demonstrated leadership skills are required for consideration. A high school diploma or equivalent is required with at least two years of experience directly related to the responsibilities of the position.
Position Requirements: This position primarily works in an office setting. The employee must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery to complete data entry and communicate with co-workers, donors and callers.
