Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) is seeking an IP Representative to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for administering rights relationships to serve the interests of rights owners globally by accurately and efficiently assisting with royalty payments, contract administration, problem resolution, and information requests.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Interfaces with current and prospective rights owners globally to answer questions, provide support, and ensure proper payments.
- Communicates professionally, diplomatically and in a timely manner with rights holders and with other CCLI staff.
- Acts decisively in resolving rights owner inquiries, complaints, and needs through proper assessment and prioritization.
- Creates and maintains rights structures within proprietary software by accurately reflecting controlled rights, assignments, authorities, types, time periods, and relationship links.
- Assists with royalty payout processes as assigned.
- Inputs and ingests data and metadata into proprietary software pertaining to parties, rights, contracts, asset ownership, etc.
- Informs department leadership and team members about changes in global rights owner relationships with respect to copyrights, territorial representation, personnel, and matters of risk and exposure.
- Proactively offers ideas for the betterment of rights owner relationships and team.
- Assists regional personnel as assigned in support of rights owner relationships, copyright administration, license expansion, and related matters.
- Maintains and grows knowledge pertaining to rights administration, relevant territorial copyright laws, royalties, customer surveying, contracts and proprietary licenses, and services by way of self-study, department briefings and other educational opportunities.
- Collaborates with other department personnel as assigned and provides intellectual property expertise in support of ancillary systems and software.
- Performs project work and other duties as assigned.

- Strong communication skills and proficient written and verbal communications.
- Fluency in Spanish or territorial second language desired.

- Experienced with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Comfortable working with and learning new technologies.
- Adaptable to change and an ability to shift work priorities to meet established deadlines/priorities.
- Ability to work independently or within a team toward a defined goal.
- Knowledge of copyright law and related terminologies is helpful.
