About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Daycare Assistant to join our team. As a Daycare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. You will work closely with our team of experienced childcare professionals to ensure that each child receives the highest quality of care. Your primary goal will be to create a positive and engaging atmosphere that promotes learning and development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children in a daycare or similar setting
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain required certifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Experience working with children with special needs
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in our care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
Skills:
As a Daycare Assistant, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members. You will also use your creativity and problem-solving skills to plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development. Additionally, you will need to be organized and detail-oriented to maintain a clean and safe environment for children. Finally, you will need to be adaptable and flexible to meet the changing needs of children and their families.
