The Chief Operations Officer serves as a strategic thought partner and lieutenant to the President/CEO by guiding, advising, and executing the vision and strategic mission of the President/CEO and Board of CFC. Operational excellence and efficient execution of day-to-day operations are the primary responsibilities of the COO. The COO is a trusted advisor and objective truth teller to the President. He is comfortable telling the President behind closed doors when he/she disagrees but ultimately stands united with the President. This position must have strong writing, speaking, analytical, and learning skills and be able to defend traditional, conservative, and Biblical values, confronting changing cultural norms and religious decline with wisdom and love.
Essential Functions include:
- Using quantitative and qualitative analytical, build strong, data-driven hypotheses and frameworks and bring structure to problem-solve quickly.
- Partner with President/CEO in overseeing VPs of Social Services, and Finance and Operations; and Directors of Clinical Services, and Marketing and Fundraising divisions of CFC.
- Assess and review the work of department heads, from the management of various divisions to the reports and submissions of the company's departments.
- Act as an official company representative at external functions and to existing and potential clients and donors.
- Oversee the design and implementation of strategic business plans, CFC Board Approved Strategic Plan, and Team One Page Plans establishing processes, creating efficiencies, and monitoring adherence to timelines, budgets, and the mission of CFC.
- Reporting on the status and performance of the company's projects to the president and board of directors or stakeholders.
- Monitoring changing industry trends and adapting CFCs goals and projects to reflect these trends and appeal to the target demographic.
- Monitoring growth opportunities and client leads and adapting marketing plans to attract more clients and investors.
- Ensuring that the company is always in compliance with the latest industry regulations and standards.
Minimum requirements include 10 years of senior management experience and a bachelor's degree in business, business administration, MBA preferred. Travel occasionally throughout the state.
