We are seeking applicants who are willing to provide mental services within a positive, Christian work environment.
The Mental Health Technician will support psycho-educational group facilitation skills groups for clients admitted into our program while complying to safety and educational requirements in a professional manner. In addition, the Mental Health Technician will provide general client care, de-escalation services when challenging behaviors arise, and participate in clinic projects to improve professional skills and clinic operations. This position will also participate in clinical supervision meetings for professional and team improvement, as directed.

Hours for this position are 7:00am-3:30pm or 7:30am-4:00pm, Thursday & Friday. Additional hours available Wednesdays from 11:30am-3:30pm.
At Christian Family Solutions, you have the opportunity to work with a well-trained and equipped staff who are able to safely navigate their way through the mental health field. You will receive on the job training to ensure that you too, are well trained and equipped for this position. Christian Family Solutions will also provide training in the process of applying clinical treatment within a biblical worldview, regular in-service or continuing education opportunities, as well as regular supervision and consultation.

Requirements
- A minimum of a high school diploma required.
- Previous experience working with children with severe emotional/ behavioral disorders.
- Active member of a WELS or ELS or confessional Lutheran church preferred.
- Willingness to support the mission of Christian Family Solutions.
- Previous coursework or training on children with mental health/emotional disorders.
- Personal aptitude and life experience which suggest aptitude to provide positive and effective services for children with mental health disorders.
- Willing to uphold a biblical worldview in the clinical setting.
