When someone is called to a career with a strong sense of purpose, it’s more than a job. It’s a vocation.
We are recruiting a Program Therapist to provide services in our Online Day Treatment for Teens Program. This program serves those who need a higher level of care than outpatient counseling. These services are offered remotely through a secure connection. This program helps teens struggling with aggressive or impulsive behaviors, authority defiance, relational conflicts, and high-risk behaviors. We work with teens and their families to restore emotional, social, and behavioral skills that have been impacted by mental health disorders. Teens develop coping skills to manage symptoms and related stress.
This role will be working between 32-40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Hours will be between 8:45am – 4:45pm. This position will be fully remote, and the employee must be within a two-hour driving distance of our Appleton clinic for initial training and occasional in-person meetings. Benefits are included in this role: health, dental, and vision insurance; short- and long-term disability; a 401(k) plan with employer match; life insurance; and Paid Time Off.
What you will be doing
Provide counseling services by facilitating psycho-educational and process groups admitted in our Day Treatment for Teens Program, along with completing individual and family sessions. You will be responsible for documenting patient progress in the electronic medical record, assuming responsibility for each assigned client. Researching appropriate topic areas and developing relevant programming materials will also be an important part of this role.
Quality mental health delivered with integrity is the first commitment we make to our clients. An additional commitment we make is to offer the option of Christian faith principles integrated with a client’s treatment, as needed and desired by the client. Research has proven that such faith-integrated treatment is effective and has longer lasting impact. It is an approach we are committed to delivering, and we train our staff to provide it. You will work in a unique environment where both your professional skills and your faith can grow.
