Job Overview
The Departmental Operations Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting the Pastoral Care Team by providing administrative assistance, coordinating events, and maintaining accurate records.
- Manage the Pastoral Care/Church Relations database, including information on churches, clergy visits, and volunteer data.
- Develop, maintain, and run database reports as requested.
- Provide secretarial and administrative support, including preparation, revision, typing, copying, and distribution of letters, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate worship service scheduling, maintain master schedules, and contact/community leaders for confirmation details.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating Clergy Day Events and related activities.
- Maintaining accurate records and databases.
- Providing administrative support to the Pastoral Care Team.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- One year of secretarial experience.
- Experience in database management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher).
