Job Overview

The Departmental Operations Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting the Pastoral Care Team by providing administrative assistance, coordinating events, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Manage the Pastoral Care/Church Relations database, including information on churches, clergy visits, and volunteer data.
  • Develop, maintain, and run database reports as requested.
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support, including preparation, revision, typing, copying, and distribution of letters, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate worship service scheduling, maintain master schedules, and contact/community leaders for confirmation details.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating Clergy Day Events and related activities.
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases.
  • Providing administrative support to the Pastoral Care Team.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • One year of secretarial experience.
  • Experience in database management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher).
