The Risk Management & Safety department is seeking a highly skilled Security Supervisor to join our team. This key role will provide critical support for all safety and security matters on campus.
- The Security Supervisor will work closely with HR to issue new hire identification badges and terminate those no longer employed.
- This role requires a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, as well as excellent communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with other departments.
- The Security Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining the Security main campus schedule, including coverage for call-outs and submission of PTO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain security schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Provide field training for new security personnel.
- Respond to emergencies and cover meals during the main portion of the workday.
- Patrol buildings and grounds to detect any irregularities.
- Monitor electronic security equipment and report any safety concerns.
- Investigate incidents and document findings.
Requirements:
- Five years of experience in security management or a related field.
- A valid New Jersey driver's license in good standing.
- Criminal justice background with traffic control experience preferred.
