A Business Intelligence Marketing Analyst is a professional responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to provide insights that support marketing business decisions. The analyst works closely alongside the Director of Marketing, creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders and providing guidance to the Marketing team using data.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and analyze data to develop insights and recommendations for business decisions.Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for reporting and analysis.Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations and written reports.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in reporting and analytics.Analyze lead data, monitor campaign performance, and provide regular reports to inform marketing strategies.
Knowledge & Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Marketing, Public Relations or Computer Science5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or MarketingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQLUnderstanding of Marketing tools (Hubspot, Google Analytics, Meta Ad Manager)Social Media, Radio, and Audio ReportingExperience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BIUnderstanding of statistical analysis and modelingKnowledge of database design and data warehousing principlesExperience with programming languages such as Python or RExperience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
