Job Summary:
The Warehouse Parts Coordinator is responsible for managing the inventory, receiving and distributing parts and supplies, and ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse. This role is critical to maintaining smooth workflows for our HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor, organize, and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of parts and supplies.
- Order Processing: Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments; ensure all deliveries match purchase orders.
- Parts Distribution: Prepare and distribute parts and materials to technicians for scheduled jobs.
- Stock Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to order parts, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate pricing as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and transactions using inventory management systems.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure tools and equipment are in good working order and available for use.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with service managers and technicians to prioritize parts requests and support job schedules.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse, inventory management, or a similar role, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical industries.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to [weight limit] lbs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
