Job Description
The MDS Coordinator (RN) will be responsible for assessing residents, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with Medicare and Medicaid guidelines. This role requires strong clinical assessment skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- MDS Certification preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an RN in long-term care or skilled nursing community.
- Proven experience with MDS assessments and care planning.
- In-depth knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and MDS software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Thorough understanding of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
