Project Manager, Transportation and Logistics

The Project Manager, Transportation and Logistics, is responsible for leading key logistics initiatives across the Americas and supporting Christian Louboutin’s logistics evolution. This role will focus on optimizing 3PL partnerships, enhancing last-mile delivery strategy, and developing logistics capabilities across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels. With a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on execution, the Project Manager will play a key role in strengthening our operational foundation and supporting scalable, data-driven growth.

A critical component of this role includes leading the Americas coordination of global system enhancements, including transportation and logistics platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in project management, logistics systems integration, vendor engagement, and cross-functional collaboration—along with a passion for luxury-level service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Strategic Logistics Initiatives

• Lead end-to-end logistics projects across international markets, with a focus on last-mile delivery excellence and 3PL optimization.
• Design and implement scalable logistics solutions to support retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and reporting tools to ensure visibility and accountability across initiatives.
• Apply systems thinking to identify interdependencies across supply chain processes and ensure holistic solutions.

RFP & Vendor Management

• Own the RFP and integration process for last-mile and 3PL logistics, including scope definition, vendor evaluation, negotiations, and onboarding.
• Assess and benchmark logistics partners for cost, service level, innovation, and alignment with Christian Louboutin’s luxury brand standards.
• Manage contractual obligations and performance KPIs to ensure continuous improvement.
• Leverage data to evaluate vendor performance and drive fact-based negotiations and strategy.

Capability Development & Data Maturity

• Identify and implement logistics best practices, technologies, and process enhancements to elevate operational excellence.
• Drive improvements in data integrity, governance, and accessibility across transportation and logistics systems.
• Support the development of dashboards and analytics tools to enable real-time visibility and decision-making.
• Champion data-driven approaches to assess network performance, identify bottlenecks, and inform strategic investments.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Retail Operations, and E-Commerce teams to align logistics capabilities and data strategies with business goals.
• Support sustainability and innovation initiatives in packaging, delivery methods, and reverse logistics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as the liaison between global logistics providers and internal teams to ensure seamless execution and service excellence.
• Collaborate with warehouse, transportation, customer service, and planning teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Promote cross-functional understanding of logistics systems and data flows to enhance transparency and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 5 years of experience in logistics or transportation project management, preferably in luxury, fashion, or consumer goods
• Proven experience managing 3PLs and leading last-mile RFPs on a global or regional scale.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce logistics, reverse logistics, and omni-channel fulfillment.
• Experience using data and systems to drive logistics strategy and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with logistics technologies(TMS, OMS, WMS), data tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL), and data governance best practices is a plus.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills (PMP certification is a plus).
• Comfortable working in a global, matrixed environment with both strategic and tactical responsibilities.
• Fluent in English; French is a strong advantage.

Christian Louboutin envisions the general compensation range for this position to be $100k- $120k per YEAR.
