Christian Medical & Dental Associations (CMDA), the world’s largest faith-based organization of healthcare professionals, is seeking a full-time Project and Events Coordinator to join our Dental Ministry team at our national headquarters in Bristol, TN. The successful candidate will provide professional administrative assistance to the VP for Dental Ministries and Dental Ministry staff with a focus on providing administrative support for the coordination, planning and execution of special projects and events.

The role demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, the aptitude to multitask and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide excellent day-to-day administrative and management support for Dental Ministries VP
- Communicate regularly with the VP to discuss operational issues, goals, deficiencies, and other departmental concerns.
- Create systems to effectively manage information and workflow.
- Plan, organize, and provide administrative support for various travel and events of the Dental Ministries VP
- Serve as a communication and networking conduit for Dental Ministry staff
- Schedule all regular meetings and attend occasional evening staff meetings
- Manage onboarding, training, and offboarding of staff
- Provide and edit all necessary internal reports for staff
- Serve as a central information hub for staff
- Manage and update applicable databases and files, especially relating to dental schools and key leaders
- Plan, edit, organize, maintain, create registration, order materials, and promote various special projects, events, and web pages for CMDA resources and events
- Manage, update, and edit varying content within CMDA’s Learning Center
- Travel may be necessary on occasion to provide onsite support for Dental Ministry events
- Perform other duties as assigned and directed by the VP for Dental Ministries

- College degree
- Willingness to learn and utilize membership database
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize

- Advanced administrative skills, including:
- Computer literacy
- Social media skills
- Letter writing skills with proper email etiquette
- Telephone skills
- Project completion skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Forms, and SharePoint
- Experience in Google Products: Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms, and Drive
- Data entry
- Experience with website and email communication
- Flexibility to adjust work hours when the workload demands it (i.e., weeks prior to national meetings)
