About Your Responsibilities
In this position, you will provide care to guests under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Recording vital signs
- Measuring and recording height and weight, intake and output
- Maintaining a clean and comfortable guest environment
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Helping guests with eating and hydration
- Observing skin changes and reporting them to licensed nurses; providing skin care as needed
- Meeting guests' mental health and social service needs
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CNA certification necessary
