Adolescent Mentor/Respite Provider

Christian Servants Home Care is looking for Caregivers to support our clients in the place they call home. We provide any non-medical needs, personal care, respite care for people with dementia, companionship, meal preparation, transportation as well as care including housekeeping, activities of daily living, mentorship, medication reminders and more.

Currently have multiple positions open for multiple kids but most urgently looking for someone to provide personal support/mentoring in the community to an adolescent boy as well as Respite in your home and in the community. This client is a Teenager that is looking for a caregiver to do social and recreational activities with them. Our adolescent participants generally have mental, developmental, and or emotional issues. Looking for someone with experience in these areas. Schedule is flexible and can be discussed based on your availability . During the school year it would have to be evenings and/or weekends but is flexible in how many weekends/evenings per day/month.

Requirements:

· Experience providing care-giving services

· Must pass background check

· Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record

· Must possess a reliable vehicle with insurance

· Must have reliable phone with voicemail

· Must have email access

· Must be compassionate

· Must be reliable & flexible

Compensation & Benefits:

· Part-time to full time options available. Anywhere from a handful of hours a week to full time depending on the client(s) you want to take on.

Experience:

· caregiving: 2 years preferred

· Experience and training with mental health disorders preferred. Having Crisis management experience preferred.

· driver's license and insurance (Required)

· CPR/First Aid (Preferred)

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10- 20 hours a week, though could work your way up to more by adding additional clients in the future as they come up.
• Fluctuating hours/ part time-full time available based on the client
• Must have flexible schedule, some clients need some evening/weekend hours

Starting date will depend on the clients that we have and the availability of the caregivers.
