Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. This role requires a strong understanding of client care and the ability to respond effectively to clients needs.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Support clients with mobility assistance and transportation to appointments or social activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client progress and needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare settings.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and transferring clients safely.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is required.
