Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with disabilities, including autism, and will be skilled in providing patient care in various settings such as group homes, nursing homes, or through home health services. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you assist.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking as needed.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical activities while ensuring their safety.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
Experience
- Previous experience as a caregiver in a group home or nursing home setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and medication administration is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

- Monday to Friday

- Weekends as needed
