Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
- Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Help clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Support clients in social activities and community engagement as appropriate.
Skills
- Experience in home health care or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and monitoring practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility challenges.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
