Primary Care at Limestone is looking for a Medical Assistant.

Primary Care at Limestone is located at 4512 Kirkwood Highway, Suite 300 in Wilmington, Delaware. Primary Care at Limestone offers primary medical care for adults and children, gynecology, women's health, vaccinations, physical examinations, preventive medicine, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
 

Office Hours:

• Monday from 7:40am to 7pm
• Tuesday from 7:40am to 6pm
• Wednesday from 7am to 5pm
• Thursday from 7:40am to 5:20pm
• Friday from 7am to 4pm

Duties / Responsibilities:

As a medical assistant you will be involved with greeting and supporting patients both virtually and on-site within the practice, preparing them for virtual visits, performing point of care testing, injections, medication administration, and EKGs, assisting clinicians with examinations and procedures, preparing exam/treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment, completing patient-specific paperwork, ensuring EMR is up-to-date, handling patient call backs, sterilizing medical equipment, handling prior authorizations, referrals, and medical refills, scheduling tests, procedures, and surgeries, performing quality control on POCT equipment, providing documentation assistance, performing clerical duties, troubleshooting patient issues with video visits, and supporting patients in joining ChristianaCare's Patient Portal.

Education Requirements:

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
