ChristianaCare's Imaging Department is currently recruiting for a Full Time Outpatient MRI/CT Section Supervisor
Responsible for:
- Direct supervision and oversight of MRI and CT technical staff
- Outpatient MRI Safety practices and protocols
- Participation in MRI Safety Committee
- Education of departmental staff and other departments or groups as necessary on MRI Safety
- Performs HR activities, evaluations, disciplinary actions as necessary
- Technical staffing schedules and vacation approvals for multiple locations
- Quality control of clinical images to ensure technical standards compliance
- Maintain and schedule the maintenance of imaging and patient care equipment including regulatory compliance, safety, and specifications of equipment (ACR, State of DE Radiation Control, State of Delaware CLIA license)
- ACR Accreditation of all MRI and CT units
- Prepare and ensure compliance with JCAHO standards for multiple locations
- New employee and department orientation
- Function as site leader for off site locations as needed
- Participation and reporting in Performance Improvement initiatives
- Other duties as required
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years imaging experience required
- ARRT (R) required, (MRI) preferred.
- Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service/telephone skills required
- Proven leadership abilities
- Ability to function independently
- Problem solving and complaint resolution
- Interacting with physicians, patients, and families
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
