ChristianaCare is recruiting for a full time flex, 72 hours bi-weekly, Speech Language Pathologist to assess and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders in an inpatient acute care setting. With an emphasis on patient-family centered care, we specialize in a variety of services with a dynamic interdisciplinary/trans-disciplinary team approach.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment programs to include family specific goals and time frames
- Provide patient and family education and training
Education and experience requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) OR CF Certification
- CPR Certification
- Acute care experience preferred
- Strong CF candidate will be considered
Rehabilitation Team Offers:
