This role is a HYBRID position requiring frequent on-site work. Must be within a commutable distance.

Must be available to travel for Epic training the week of 3/31/2025.

Primary Function:

The primary function of the Beacon Oncology Analyst is to support the design, build, configuration, testing, implementation, and optimization of the Epic Beacon Oncology module. This role focuses on enhancing oncology workflows and clinical practices within the healthcare organization. The analyst ensures that the Beacon module is effectively integrated into clinical workflows, providing comprehensive support to healthcare providers and administrative staff. This includes working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, configuring the system to meet those needs, providing training and ongoing support to end-users, and continuously seeking opportunities to improve system efficiency and effectiveness.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and configuration of the Beacon Oncology module ensuring it meets the specific needs of clinical departments.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Customize the Beacon Oncology module to align with the clinical and operational requirements.
• Analyze current oncology workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct thorough system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure the system meets quality and performance standards before go-live.
• Develop training materials and participate in training sessions for end-users, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure effective use of the system.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for the system post-implementation, addressing user issues and concerns promptly.
• Facilitate regular meetings and communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
• 2-3 years of experience working with Epic systems or similar EHR platform required
• High School diploma with 5 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree
• Epic Beacon Certification preferred; if not certified, must become Epic certified within 3 weeks of completing the mandatory Epic training sessions
• Candidates with pharmacy background are encouraged to apply
