Thrilled to expand our Pediatric Emergency Medicine group again!
ChristianaCare is looking for a BC/BE Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to join our fabulous team. Our mission is twofold: to provide exceptional care for children, and to provide an exceptional work environment for our faculty and staff.
New (2022) 14-bed unit in large, community nonprofit.
Combined PEM and General Pediatricians in EM (“GPEM”) model.
Dedicated swing/nocturnists thus minimal overnight coverage.
Resident education: EM, Med-Peds, EM/IM, EM/FM, FM.
Academic affiliation with Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University.
Robust Behavioral Health (BH) support: dedicated Peds BH Social Worker, off hours BH consults within 1 hour, and admitted BH patients covered by Pediatric Hospitalist team.
All imaging modalities, including POCUS.
In-house and external sub-specialty consults readily available.
EMR (Cerner).
